Like a candle that consumes itself to light the way for others, let me guide your child to excel academically. Mr. Reo, a caring, reliable, committed & responsible teacher who first understands the needs of a child and then cater his coaching to suit the child. Constant encouragement and patience, together with student's self-determination, correct & good attitudes, hard work & effort....... contribute to academic success. A good teacher teaches from the heart. Passion is my secret and my challenge is to help those weaker students to do well. Recognition & credits should go to those teachers who are coaching kids with learning disabilities, ADD, ADHD, dyslexia etc.

About me:

In my early 40s and graduated from Curtin University Of Technology (Australia) with a degree in Commerce. Prior to my University education, I graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a diploma in Business Studies. Previously a HR Manager for an International UK MNC before going into the teaching/education industry. No regrets.

I provide long-term committed private home coaching from primary 1-6 (English/Maths/Science/Chinese) and secondary 1-2(English/Maths/Science). I have numerous years of teaching experience with exceptional proven-track record & testimonials from both parents & students. I am patient, caring and responsible but at the same time, can be strict and firm with students. I consider myself a result-oriented and high achiever teacher. I am genuine to help students to improve and do well. I will train students to have a thinking mind (I do not believe in spoon-feeding), to be independent and possess correct attitudes (Correct attitudes are deemed necessary to excel academically). I am able to mingle well with students. A counsellor and advisor to most students too. I am familiar with MOE system and syllabus. My teaching methods are catered to different level of students and individual requirements.

I have experience with ADD, ADHD and Dyslexia students. In recent years, there's a growing number of students with such learning disabilities in addition to behavioural & anger management issue. In most cases, these students were not "spotted" in school. And usually this group of students are not doing well in school. They need special and patient guidance to help them overcome it. I have successful cases with helping this group of students.

Students showing improvement in their studies and passing examinations with flying colours are my biggest accomplishment and pride in all these years of teaching. Teaching is my passion and helping my students to do well is my responsibility and challenge. I take pride in my teaching and coaching. Private teaching is my career and most importantly, my Life!

* Majority of my students, many have given up teaching them due to their bad behaviors and negative attitudes, in addition to medically/not medically certified Dyslexic, ADD/ADHD or combination, are not easy to coach. It requires a lot of patience, understanding of their problems, flexibility in teaching them, gaining their trust and many others. Many are intelligent kids but require helps, motivations and good positive energy to overcome their difficulties.
